NeoPixel refers to the blade type. A neo pixel blade is a light saber blade that contains LEDs within the blade itself. The blade has a strip of up to 256 LEDs (128 per side) depending on length. The LEDs are wired to a PCB at the base of the blade. When the NeoPixel blade is inserted this PCB makes contacts with pins inside the hilt to power and control the blade. Are your sabers duel ready? The short answer is yes. Our Highline and Slimline blades are classified as an industry standard 2MM thick midgrade blade. Our Highline Heavy blades are 3MM thick. The Highline blades are designed for 1” ID hilts while the Slimline fit ⅞” ID. Both the High line and the Slimline blades are duel worthy but we recommend you match blade type with your opponent.
