Are your sabers duel ready? The short answer is yes. Our Highline and Slimline blades are classified as an industry standard 2MM thick midgrade blade. Our Highline Heavy blades are 3MM thick. The Highline blades are designed for 1” ID hilts while the Slimline fit ⅞” ID. Both the High line and the Slimline blades are duel worthy but we recommend you match blade type with your opponent. If your opponent is using a Highline use a Highline, if it's a Highline heavy use a Highline heavy etc. This ensures one blade is not damaging the other. Always apply heat shrink or even masking tape to your blade tip before heavy dueling. The tips are the weakest point of the blade and can be easily broken off if not properly secured.
NeoPixels can be dueled as well but since blades of any type are not covered by the warranty most dueling is generally limited to baselit. We have battle tested our NeoPixel time and time again with great success but at the end of the day you do have wires and solder joints that can break from hard impacts.
MOST of our sabers are duel ready/worthy. We say most because we do not advise dueling with anything thin necked sabers. The Eminence, Survivor, Destiny, etc. all make poor choices for dueling sabers. It's also generally accepted that MOST replicas are just fairly awkward in a fight.
